On February 4, 2025 the Ministry of Lands received ICT equipment from Malawi Agricultural Commercialisation - AGCOM Project to help improve public service delivery in the land sector. The handover ceremony took place at AGCOM offices in Lilongwe. The equipment which includes, heavy duty printers, scanners, laptops, desktop computers, video conference facility will also facilitate implementation of the Land Information management services. Team Leader for Land Reforms Implementation Unit (LRIU) Eunice Mphonda presented the equipment on behalf of AGCOM while Director of Land Information Management Services Mr. Julias Chisi received the equipment on behalf of the Ministry and said the donation of the  equipment was timely as it would help the Ministry fast-track the process of digitizing the land records.
