Call for proof of Land Ownership
 
Please Note! The Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development hereby calls upon registered owners of the following plots as attached on the link below, to report to the Ministry’s Land Information Management Systems (LIMS) Offices at Golden Peacock Office Building, Floor No. 3, City Centre, Lilongwe within a period of sixty (60) days from October 3, 2026.

Please Note! The Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development joins the rest of the world in commemorating World Habitat Day, which falls on the first Monday of October each year and is recognized by the United Nations as an occasion to reflect on the state of towns and cities and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter

The ministry of Lands through the Department of Housing is in the process of reviewing the Safer House Construction Guidelines (SHCGs) that been using since 2015 in order to better address issues of resilience to all kinds of disasters. The Ministry is therefore seeking input from all stakeholders to make the document more relevant and responsive to the changes in building technology and construction techniques so as to fully adopt the Build Back Better concept.....
