The department carries out all estate management and valuation activities. It is responsible for property management of assets to sustain the performance of the housing units. It also manages government leased properties to ensure compliance of covenants by the landlords. The department is also an advisor to Government on real property acquisition, compensation and disposal values. The department is responsible for compiling and maintenance of government real estate register as well as being its custodian.
